On Friday's we typically process incoming orders until 5pm and these get sent to Calor to go into their system. Anything after 5 waits until Monday morning. As a tip, if you are going to order on a Friday, do it before we cut off if you can as that puts you in the delivery queue faster than those we process on the Monday!
https://www.theweatheroutlook.com/forecast/14-day-uk-weather-forecast Outlook for the next 14 days is for chillier days to come but somewhat drier. That means the heating will be going on and demand for cylinders for heating will increase particularly in those areas under new restrictions. We'll keep you updated on stock and availability but presently, with the exception of the South East, everything is fine.
During the last national lockdown, Gottle Gas & Calor continued to make deliveries into all of the geographical areas that we cover. However, due to fewer drivers being available, admin staff on furlough then lead times did get longer as I am sure you understand. At the time of writing, prior to further Government announcements, we want to assure customers that we will do our utmost to keep everyone supplied with cylinders. Once we have more information from the PM we will keep you updated on this site.
Quite literally, the heat IS on. Over the weekend we've seen a spike in the number of orders for 15kg butane for indoor heaters. Please remember this is a product that usually sells out once the cold hits and lead times extend. Don't be caught out.
Can you believe it? It's October already! Noticeable difference to the morning air but still too many spiders lurking in the plants for me. Starting to think about turning the heating on a little in the mornings now as, I expect, are many others. I know we've said it before, but please consider the implications of further government restrictions, whether you will need cylinders and give yourself plenty of time to receive the goods.
